Taboo is a series of educational programs, including educator training, that support the exploration of the relationships between politics, the media, and international human rights. Learners analyze our personal responsibilities and collective reluctance to stand up against oppression and violence around the world, particularly sexual violence. Taboo also draws attention to the ongoing persecution of people who are transgender. Taboo features Hand Holding, a series of short stories by Rachel Asher and the poems Bedtime Stories, Fairy Tale, and I Believe You. |
